From Friday July 31 | Renfro Valley KOA, | Amidst the beautiful hills of Renfro Valley, our campground offers you an opportunity to experience an award winning camping or RV vacation. Here you can enjoy the superior standards that campers have grown to expect at KOA. Catch some of the local musical entertainment or participate in our "Family Fun" activities while enjoying a taste of our southern hospitality. |
August 2009 | Franklin | We have found Chuck via the Warm Showers Organization. We will be camping with him and his wife after we climb our way to Franklin. |
August 2009 | Aiken | Ray, another Warm Showers Organization member has opened up his home to us. |
August 2009 | Ladson | Before we reach Charleston, South Carolina, we will be staying with Doug and his family. Doug is also a Warm Showers Organization member. |
September 2009 | Flagler Beach, | If it works out, we will be staying with Barbara and Tom. They are members of the Warm Showers Organization. |
September 2009 | Cape Canaveral, | Kim will be sharing her home at the beach with us. She is a member of the Warm Showers Organization. |
September 2009 | Fort Pierce, | We will be staying with Wally and Betty Ann at their home on the Indian River. |
September 2009 | Cape Coral | Gene and Barbara have offered us a place to camp with use of kitchen and shower! |
September 2009 | Tarpon Springs, | Marty and Fran have made their home in Tarpon Springs available to us. We will be arriving there after taking the Pinellas Trail from St. Petersburg. |
September 2009 | Destin, | In the panhandle of Florida we are welcomed in the home of Ernest and Rita. |
October 2009 | Slaton, | In the panhandle of Texas we are welcomed in the home of Ray and Suzanne. |
January 2010 | San Diego, | Todd and his wife have opened their home to us. We will spending about a week with them in their home which by chance... has a Pacific Ocean view! |
January 2010 | Malibu, | Eric and his family have made their tent trailer available for us. It has sleeping for five, a kitchen and shower and will be parked right above the Pacific Ocean! |
April 2010 | Portland, | Jane and John have offered us a place to stay in their back yard. Their back yard is located in NE Portland in the historic Irvington neighborhood. Just across the Willamette River from downtown Portland, the neighborhood was developed in the early 1900s as a streetcar suburb. |
May 2010 | Gabriola Island, BC, | We will be taking the Nanaimo ferry to this little corner of paradise on Gabriola Island, as April Gibson calls it. Brent and April operate a hair salon from their home. Besides a place to stay they have also offered their services as hair stylist. |
May 2010 | Gabriola Island, BC, | We will be enjoying the company of the Macewens and taste the fresh products that will come from their wood fired oven bakery. Delightful! |
